I tossed a club a few years ago. I was promptly reminded by a a guy in our group that I was not good enough to get that mad. That was the first tme I ever heard that said. I now use it myself on others. Seems to work well.

I did not go to the link provided, but I have been told the best way to throw a club is to throw it towards the ball you just hit. That way on your way to your next shot you can just pick up that club as you walk by. I think that comes under course management.

Not a club throwing scenario, but I saw a guy take his $600+ Taylor Made Quad something or other, and smash it into one of those flat concrete yardage markers you see on tee boxes. The club head litterally exploded into a few pieces. His reasoning was a missed 200 yard carry over water. He probably should have thrown that one.  FHs

Elfsgregory, I did that too(15yrs ago) but when it hit the bag it came back and hit ME. All I can do was laugh cuz I deserved it, thinking it was an in-animate objects fault. It was embarrassing at the time but I tell the story all the time.

I have been to that point of frustration, but a few years ago I whipped one of my irons back towards my bag only to have it hit the bag and try to wrap itself around it. I then learned that to just imagine to toss the club is much cheaper and that it probably wasn't the clubs fault anyway.
