I have to say that this was a very recordable and memorial event and makes you proud to be involved in such a sport. The attitude of both players during the playoff and the work it took Tiger to tie Rocco on the last hole of regulation play was just speechless. It just goes to show that there are more than 1 way to skin a cat in golf. Does'nt matter if you hit the ball 275 yards or 340 yards, you can still be a "big dog". The fans were awesome too with supporting both players greatly on Monday. The display of professionalism by Rocco on the last playoff hole when Tiger finally defeated him was to capture and remember that at the end of the day, everyone is still good friends and we all can play together.

I only watched the last part of Sunday's televised action, and almost all of Monday's play off action. Seeing Rocco hold his own against Tiger was a great thing to watch. Putting Tiger's "Majors" quest aside, it would have been nice to see Rocco prevail. Watching Tiger drop to his knees at one point was a bit scary. I liked to know what his OTC meds were.

Felt sorry for "Philly Mick" as he just didn't have his game on track for this event. I do recall that someone once reported that Mickleson never has played well when paired with Woods in the early rounds. Now that I think about it...........? That one terrible hole hurt, but over all he did expect to play better.

I think the USGA did a great job on the course set up. I like to see the best of the best play near par to win. Of course I also believe that the tougher the set up, the easier it is for Tiger to win, since he is so much better than his present competition.  All he has to worry about is some one showing up, and playing better golf than they would normally play. That, or his own game being less than normal for him.

I wish the golf channel would adopt a program like the HFL Channel where they would show a condensed version of the golf action. Not a lot of commentary, just golf shots, and crowd noise..

I have played there a few times under much tamer conditions, with a personal best of 80. Probably would have shot a high 90 something with the current set up.  FHs
