On another forum the thought was entertained that if the American team had more recent wins in these matches we wouldn't be hearing these remarks. Or, that Mr. Mahan does not play in these matches in the future. Or, maybe he's right. Opinions? FHs
Not really sure where he is going with that. Is he a business major or something. Maybe he saw the financial sheets. I don't think he remembers some of the old great amateur players like Bobby Jones who did it for the "title". I heard Hunter made an apologizing statement later. I think he should not have commented without playing in the event. Maybe he talked to 1 person who it took a toll on and felt everyone felt that way or something I don't know. I do know that we all get that " foot in mouth disease" every so often.
