My Wife and I were up to the Dells area in Wisc. this past vacation, and she was sweet enough to book a tee time for me at a local 9 hole course. The course was in really good shape and the layout should not have been that difficult. More sand traps than I am accustomed to, but they only came into play when I would mi??? a short iron. Most of the par 4's were short enough that the driver really wasn't needed. On one par 4, I tried to play smart and hit my 5 hybrid from the tee box and play position. It didn't work 'cause I pulled my shot into the trees and had to punch out. I did par 1 and 3 and still enjoyed my round but can't wait to get back on my home course where I feel a little bit more comfortable.
