I just joined today and am trying to find my way around. Our season is just about starting here in Terrace Bay Ontario.I am hoping that my new clubs from the birdie doctor will lower my handicap this year.I will play all the tournaments in the area this year and in September move to Indiana to live with my daughter since I am newly widowed.I want to be where I can golf year round, the white stuff can stay away from me from now on.
The birdie doctor is located in Georgia,he has adds in PGA tour partners magazine. In his adds he says that 90%of the clubs made today are not weighted properly or have the correct lie and loft angles. They take pains to make sure their clubs are all perfect before they are sent out.
www.drbirdie.com is the web site if anyone is interested.
After I wrote in the blog last night I found how to add information to my bio so I am ok for now
Welcome to the 19thHole! I'm thrilled that you have joined us. If you have any problems navigating the site, just let me know. We have some really cool features that I hope you will take advantage of.
Your blog made me realize that I have not seen snow in 4 years! We don't see much of that white stuff here in sunny San Antonio.....Today was 89 and humid. I sure wouldn't mind you sending a bit of that cold weather our way!
OH- Please enlighten me....who is the Birdie Doctor and does he make house calls?
Hey man....my name is John Boley, from Mellen, WI....I'm also new here, so bear with me......not sure what is going on, but I love to play gold...I try to play at least 5 times a week, because life is too short.... I almost lost my younger brother to cancer last year and he is only 48. So everyday means alot more to me than before...Its a shame a reality has to hit before you realize it, I guess......but anyway, maybe since we're both new to this we can learn and maybe have some fun.
Have a great one, and remember to pound those greens
