Has anyone hit the Nike SasQuatch Sumo Driver?  I haven't had the chance to hit one and can't wait to hear the general feedback!

Hello Diva:

I have'nt hit one (I'm left handed), but one of my friends has one and he seems to hit it well and likes it.....kinda early up here yet (Northern Wisconsin), so time will tell, as soon as it warms up big time, I would imagine the ball should pop off the face better, etc.  Can't give you much else on it tho.....  Regards, John Boley, Mellen, WI

A friend of mine, a 9 handicapper, hit one at a demo day recently. His only comment was how loud it was when he struck the ball. He said "it sounded like an explosion. Just like an aluminum baseball bat." And that wasn't a good thing. He said it actually startled him the first time he hit a ball. He couldn't remember how he hit it. I don't think he ever looked at the ball. He was probably ducking for cover.

I hit that club and it was crazy loud. You're friend was right Jim. I did not like the sound at all.

i hit one at a recent demo day i was at... i actually really liked it... seeing as i'm just starting out i was putting the ball out 200+... it does have a really loud sound to it, but i liked that (could be the same reason that my favorite sound in the world is an aluminum baseball bat making contact)... they are quite expensive though... i couldn't dish out the $250 for the club (which was after the discount) but if i could have i would have

They are good drivers.  When you have a chance try the new Cobra Drivers.  I have sold over 12 of them this year.  Cobra Speed LD...sounds funny but the results are great.-Will

I Have to ask, are you on cobras staff? Far as the Nike driver, I think last years SQ is a better driver... Once again I feel the shaft you put in any driver you hit has to fit your swing... I really like the new Taylor Made 460 super quad (be careful there are alot of counterfiet ones going around but you see more 460 quads that are the TP model that are frauds than the 460 Super Quad) I am hitting an 8.5 degree tour 460 quad by Taylor Made, with the weight configuration 14 grams on the toe, with 8 grams and 14 grams centered behind the face, and 4 grams in the heel... Its set up to play a fade, and with the weight configuration I can control my launch angle from 10 ft of the ground, or hey could someone call N.A.S.A. tell them to get the Hubble out so I can find my ball, very high trajectory... I also know I have the right shaft in the club as well... If anyone wants a good deal on a driver let me know, I can tell you how to get in touch with me at the course I am at and get you a good price, also you should know what shaft and loft you need as well....
