Why is it sold through direct sales?


Companies choose different ways to promote and market their product.  I feel MonaVie has chosen direct sales or network marketing because the product has such an impact on how you feel that people naturally want to share this with others.  Direct sales allows those that see the benefits of the product and share it with others it to participate in some of the profits from the product.  This method also allows a small company to grow without the initial extensive advertising budgets required to market a new product.  It does seem to me that when we tell people that MonaVie is sold only through direct sales, some people are immediately turned off.  But that is unfortunate as this product has so many good long-term health benefits and will make many of those people feel better if they just tried it for a month.  So the way I look it – since I’m a believer in the product and would be recommending it to others regardless of how it was sold, it’s better for the company to pay me rather than some actor or sports star that is just getting paid to promote the product.

 

If you decide to use the product it doesn’t mean that you have to sell it.  There are many people that have opened a wholesale account to simply get MonaVie at a lower cost, order only what they consume and have no interest in selling.  In fact that was our intention when we first started using MonaVie. However, we found ourselves naturally recommending the product to others because it worked so well for us and when I examined the business side of MonaVie it made a lot of sense to us to more actively market the product.  However, there is no requirement, need or pressure to do so.
