Hi! I'm looking for a Dual hinge Medicus 5 iron to practice with.  I would be interested in hearing from those that own one or have used one.  Do you think they are helpful?  Would you recommend them? etc!

I have one of those critters. Well actually my grand son has it right now. I would recommend it's use for some one trying to groove their swing. However, that being said, be prepared for much frustration when you first start to use it. They usually come with the lighter adjustment in place, and it is almost impossible to swing the club without it breaking down for the new owner. If you get one, start with a tighter adjustment, and as you progress gradually decrease the adjustment pressure on the hinges. Once you are at the lowest adjustment pressure, and can swing the club without it breaking down, your swing will be working well for you.

You also might want to look at using the "pump drill" to help with your swing practice, while using your own playing clubs.  This is a very old drill that has with stood the test of time. JMHO, and for what it is worth. Frog

I have both the Medicus5 iron and the driver. I used both a lot when I first got them. Know some times if I'm struggling I will go back to them. They are both worth the money I my opinion.

The Medicus 5-Iron is part of my teaching items that I may use duing a lesson.  I am very selective on what I choose to teach my students with.

I bought a maximus weighted driver and I love it. I think a lot of women struggle with upper body strength and this thing is really helping me. I don't know if it helps me do all the other things it promises, but anything that looks like practice has to be good for me!
