Did you get to watch the new series on The Golf Channel called Highway 18?  It was actually a lot of fun.  I interviewed the "blonde leading the blonde" duo, Ashley and Ashleigh after the show.  These ladies know how to have a good time on and off the course.

THe women I play with watched last week and said it was a hoot. We have some pretty athletic types who think it would be a gas.

I thought I taped it, but I guess I didn't. I taped the bigbreak and watched later. Hopefully they'll replay it a zillion times so I can catch it.

So what did you think of episode 2?

I did my after-episode interviews with Ashleigh and Ashley and they were pretty honest about the day and some of the things they wish they had done differently. But tricking Parker and Andy was not one of them. I wish we could hear from those two good ole boys about what Trouble and Sunshine did to them at that light. That was sooo funny.

No doubt we'll see more antics from the two of them as they try to battle back next week and prove to everyone there that they have what it takes to win. 

On one of the other golf forums, someone was quite upset about the antics of Ashleyand Ashleigh with Rob/Charlotte and Parker/Andy, saying the ladies weren't playing by the rules and that they should have been penalized.

So...I decided to find out more about that when I talked today with Rauland Jameica and with KeriMurphy.  I asked them what they thought about the Ashs' behavior.  I was lucky and also got some extra bonus material - funny road stories from the contestants that we didn't see and an inside scoop about Alligator Alley from Keri.

I'm really looking forward to the "twist" we're supposed to see next week.

I LOVE the show, it's on a little late for me...so I tape it watch it the next day or so. The two Ashleys are hilarious. I like that they are competitive but close friends. They don't get nasty with each other, are respectful of the game, realistic about their chances etc. Charlotte...ew...not so much and Rob seems nice but is dull. I love Peach and Jay and I'm sorry the two good 'ol boys are done. All good stuff. Raul and Jameica were not interesting at all, too reserved but I appreciated their sense of commitment and fair play..and gamesmanship.

What a fantastic concept...part golf game, trivia contest, foot race, skills challenge, treasure hunt. It's just great.

I can't wait to see what happens next!!! How much fun would it be to compete like that? I would LOVE it!

Unfortunatly, I am unable to watch the show when it is on, but I do record it and watch it when I'm relaxing, Great show, Just like the Amazing Race, but in Golf Style.

Pretty sad about Jay tonight.  I hated watching that.  As much as some people don't like his style, this shouldn't have happened to him and his dad.
