Hi Cindy - thanks for the note on my blog.... You are right...I just have to make time.  I do sometimes get frustrated but after I play I really do feel more relaxed and energized....the fresh air is always good for the soul!

Here in Germany we walk all the time.  This is a beautiful country that is very concern about one's health.

Use a cart? Unheard of unless you are + 65 years old.

For me, I think that carrying my bag and clubs makes me think about my club selection for my next shot.  Unless I am InTheSandAgain!

Cindy, I went to Fripp Island twice.  96 &97.  We would stay on the island there and once in a while make a trip to Boo Fort...the cindy just outside of it.  If you want the ball to run come to Texas.  The ball rolls at least 30 yards after it lands with the driver at my club.  Yes, the course is green but still is firm.

Wow! Sounds like you've spent a lot of time in SC. Fripp is really nice (lots of deer hanging out on the fairways and greens!) Gary Player did Hilton Head National, or are you talking about South Carolina National? I have played some of the other courses at Kiawah as well. They are all pretty nice. Seabrook Island (righ next to Kiawah) is nice too. All in all, Coastal SC isn't a bad place to be if you love golf. Just wish we had clay under the fairways for a little extra bounce and some altiture for the extra hang time! Guess I should score better in NC and in the Rockies!

Hi CB,

Thanks so much for your question.  You inspired me to post a new blog all about hats!  I hope it helps!  I can't wait to hear what new hat you experiment with!

My Pleasure!!!!

I was stationed at Beaufort MCAS After the Gulf war.  Then I went over to the Recruit Depot for a little fun in the sun!  After a tour to Hawaii I went back to the MCAS where I retired from in 2000.  That area is a beautiful place and I really enjoyed golfing there.
