Hi, I am not only a legend in my own mind. I am a legend. Every bar at every municipal course, swanky country club, a few hotel lounges, is named after me. That's right. I'm a legend. It is only fitting that I welcome you as the official 19thHole.com mascot. You see, golf has been in my blood since the first Scottish man carved his first mashie and stuffed his first feather ball and dragged my ancestor out to the pasture with 18 flagged sticks. Like my decendents, I don't play golf but am a champion at chasing my balls.
I grew up in Savannah, where one of my favortie childhood memories is growling at the eccentrics in Forsyth Park. As a young stand out I went to college at U of Georgia where I was a back up mascot (stupid UGA). I majored in turf managment and helping frat boys pick up chicks. My claim to fame is that on a dare I left a flaming turd on the Dean's doorstep, never to be caught.
I am currently unemployed and spend my time looking for love. I am currently seeking a short blondie with blue eyes (although I will accept green if she is stacked). I am looking for a smokin' hot dog that enjoys long walks without a leash, fine dining in the swankiest of trash cans, spontaneous rolls in the mud and a true lady who isn't afraid to get her paws dirty. There's an added bonus if she has a twin sister.
Anyway, as a part of my "unofficial" official duties, I graciously, in the most southern hospitable manner, welcome you to the 19thHole. If you ever need a best friend to enjoy a round of golf with, I'm your Dawg!
Hello. Thanks for considering me as one of your friends. Your dog is great. You are even more creative for coming up with such a theme. I'm real new here, this reminds me of my space only for golf. Good to meet you, love your page.
Don't forget the Live Golf Chat, this Sunday night at 9:00 pm CDT.
Discuss golf. Discuss your weekend. Discuss the woes of going back to work the next morning...whatever you like.
The floor is open and you have a microphone (well, actually a keyboard) to let the world know what you think.
Just click Live Chat at the very top of any page.
I hope to see you there.
the fact that you knew about the rodeo made me really happy but i guess being from TX will give you that connection... i'm really all about the bullriding part of the rodeo (and let's be honest the bullriders are a good portion of the reason i watch, but i do actually enjoy the sport too, the fact that the participants are really attractive is only an added bonus)...
when i finally get out to play i will keep you updated...
HA! This is great! I had to click on the 19th Hole avatar 'cause I recognized the logo from "Old Beau"... I couldn't resist. I think I just found a new hobbie. And just between us dogs, I am THE world's worst speller, but y'all need to add an "h" at the end of Savannah. The only reason I know, I live on the South Carolina side of the Savannah River. Just trying to help. Trust me, that darn "h" has no business being there anyway.
