Unlike most, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the game of golf at an early age.
My parents strapped a stroke counter watch to my wrist, a bag full of clubs to my back and signed me up for my first golf tournament when I was just 10 years old. If I had only known then what I know now, I would have begged to start playing much earlier!
Golf has empowered me to make life long friends, put myself through college, meet my husband and earn business in the competitive world of sales.
In exchage for all the great things golf has given me, it is a game that has made me curse like a sailor, cry like a two-year old and somehow still manages to keep me coming back for more.
I hope to hang out here on the 19thHole and share with new friends all of the great things about golf that I have learned and all of the great things I have learned from golf.
