No doubt about it Christmas eve 1992, Panama City, Panama. Not sure if it was the course, the weather or the Golf gods (FINALLY) looked my way. I broke 90 for the first time...87!

Currently it would have to be my 3-Wood. I am one of those who are unable to use their Driver, so that is where my trusty 3-Wood comes in. I drive better with it than most do with their drivers.
FAVORITE GOLF COURSE
Hard to say, since I have just started playing again after 13 years. Give me the summer and I will have one for you.
Retired Military living in Germany with my wife and son. I have spent the past 13 years coaching American football here in Europe. Now that I have passed my whistle, I have more time to walk the links.

HOBBIES
Reading, traveling, and of course playing a round!
Mac, thanks for reading my blog. I hope more people enjoy it and get somthing from it. -Will
So true! This is something that I always preached on and have worked on since I started to play again. As a coach, I would tell my players to forget the last play and think of only what is now and not to worry about the future, that was my job. When I first started playing again, I found my self thinking to much on that last bad shot (into the sand trap, of course) or second guessing my shot selection. One of my former players, KEONI, told me one day, "Forget the past and think about the next play Coach".
Mac, GOD Bless Germany! I wish a golf cart wasn't manditory in my little part of the world! (It really comes down to economics here, I guess.) Keep on a walkin'. I think if I could walk, I'd have lower scores -- and lower blood pressure. Here's to aerobic golf!
Thanks for your reply, Mac......I had to laugh about the "way up north" comment I made.....I guess you are very right on that.....I guess I meant in the old USA.....hahaha, Anyway good to hear from you and have fun on the links..................will see you later somewhere.......Regards, John
Hey Mac: How have you been hitting them?????? Just wondering, I am kinda new to this, but would like to get into it.....fun hearing golf stories, etc... I'm from way up north in Wisconsin (by Lake Superior).....I try to play at least 5 times a week, because life goes by way to fast........ Maybe we can keep in touch and BS a bit.....I love golf and it looks like you do too.....and thats great........Best Regards,,, John Boley, Mellen, WI
Hi there! Just wanting to check in......Want to know if it's official? Have you 'officially' been bitten by the golf bug again? Isn't golf the coolest game ever??...A game that a person can pick up after 13+ years. Keep us posted on your come back!
Sorry brother. Believe me, I'd of rather been waiting until dawn to tee off rather than jogging in the dark with a bunch of bald guys. They just kept adding more and more to our day. It felt almost like a job there for awhile. Next time, no excuses; I'll be there.
