Hey Mac, haven't heard from you in a while...How's it going?!? Last year some of our discussions touched on balance. If you havn't checked him out you need to look up an instructor named Tracey Reed. He's an Army intel guy turned golf instructor who teaches "Dynamic Balance" in the swing. His stuff has helped me in a few different areas. He has video's on youtube and his web site is Ultimategolfsystems.com. Check him out! Semper Fi

Glad to hear my TotalGolf Stretching ebook has helped.  Keep it up!  Why not head on over to my new golfimprovement blog and become part of the community over there.

Don't forget the Live Golf Chat, this Sunday night at 9:00 pm CDT. Discuss golf. Discuss your weekend. Discuss the woes of going back to work the next morning...whatever you like. The floor is open and you have a microphone (well, actually a keyboard) to let the world know what you think. Just click Live Chat at the very top of any page. I hope to see you there.

Mac, Will is short for Wilbur.  I have found that just keep swinging on your game works better than waiting and shooting.  The more shots I can fire in the amount of time the better I do.

Will or is it Wilber?  Oh well, I will have to give you credit as the High Score of 9.  I also had a 9, but that was before I downloaded the game.  Since than....well.

We had a nice chat group.  As it turns out its a small world and we actually know some of the same people.  So we are only one person away in this case.

Let me know when you get your Euro Chat going and I'll join you if I am able to.  Look forward to your email.

Will

How was the chatting session?  I hope that there was a good turnout.  And I am about to start a new group "Europe's Finest".  See how much attention it gathers than set up a chat time!

WHAT....sleeping at 7:00am?  That would not happen here in Germany.  Stores close on Saturday at 12:00 or 14:00.  And Sunday....forget it. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is open.   Will be sending you an email....have a question for you.

OK Later!

Mac

Mac, I did 9 today on your game!  What is the high score so far?

Thank you for the idea about the Sunday chat at 7am Texas time.  However, I'm either still in bed at that time or at working teaching.  Maybe you should start a European Chat at that time.

Cheers-Wilbur

Mac, thanks for reading my blog.  I hope more people enjoy it and get somthing from it.  -Will

So true!   This is something that I always preached on and have worked on since I started to play again.  As a coach, I would tell my players to forget the last play and think of only what is now and not to worry about the future, that was my job.  When I first started playing again, I found my self thinking to much on that last bad shot (into the sand trap, of course) or second guessing my shot selection.   One of my former players, KEONI,  told me one day, "Forget the past and think about the next play Coach".

BEWARE SAND TRAP AHEAD!

Mac, GOD Bless Germany! I wish a golf cart wasn't manditory in my little part of the world! (It really comes down to economics here, I guess.) Keep on a walkin'. I think if I could walk, I'd have lower scores -- and lower blood pressure. Here's to aerobic golf!

OK, 8 Aces in my first time on the new course. I've set the bar. Everyone let me know how you do.

If you are totally confused, I'm talking about the Golf Ace game at the top of MacInTheSand's page.

Thanks Mac. This game is much more enjoyable than the masachistic put-put game you had before. I had to buy a new monitor after that round.

Hey Mac,

You're course is way too hard for me. I can't event get past the first hole!

Iguess i'll be practicing my putting here instead of on the practice green.

Hi there!  Just wanting to check in......Want to know if it's official?  Have you 'officially' been bitten by the golf bug again?  Isn't golf the coolest game ever??...A game that a person can pick up after 13+ years.  Keep us posted on your come back!

Golftrainer,

I downloaded your e-book "Total Golf Stretching" and as I was reading it, I was amazed.

I have spent almost 40 years either playing football or coaching it...I was stretching to play golf instead of football!

Enjoyed reading it and it already has helped me!  Thanks!

Glad to hear it's helping you.

Sorry brother.  Believe me, I'd of rather been waiting until dawn to tee off rather than jogging in the dark with a bunch of bald guys.  They just kept adding more and more to our day.  It felt almost like a job there for awhile.  Next time, no excuses; I'll be there.

04/16/2007 11:03:19

I liked the course layout and it was cheap enough, but they've got to do something about those little white weeds.  I lost a dozen balls
