Well, work or golf...work? or golf...I decided to golf early and work late and WOO HOO! I broke 90 for the first time! I shot an 89 today. It was just a hoot! I didn't tally my score until I logged it in and almost fell off the chair! I drove the ball consistently 190-240 yards and my second shots were mostly good. Wow. Chipped well and putted like I know what I'm doing. MAN! How fun is THAT? I broke 100 for the first time a year ago..July 15th. July is a good month for me. Sure, it's 80 degrees by 8am, but I guess it keeps me warmed up.
Hi! Thanks Howzit...I just thought it was kind of odd...and a bit negative to give unsolicited advice about something one knows NOTHING about. I found it annoying and a downer on what SHOULD be a great day! I don't come here for advice...I come here for friendship and comaraderie. I like Will. And if I ever feel the need to ask him for advice....I WILL.
Hey Will...thanks for the Well Wishes. If I'm ever in Texas, I'll take a lesson. :) Long irons.
Congrats Steph! It always puts you on cloud 9 when we have a good game! I think you were a little rash with Will though. He was just trying to remind you that, even though we have a great game and everything is working well...If we don't keep working on it, it WILL go to capoote. We have a tendancy, when something starts working for us, to start practicing a different part of our game. When we do this, that part that started coming along now starts to suffer. He just offered his support...as we all are!
Thanks Jim! It does feel better. In 2 years of golf, this one took more patience. Now if I can just be more consistent with my second shots...a few more strokes!
