Chipping away....at yoga.

07/26/2008 04:08:13 / like playing 36 holes

So, I called the local yoga place, where I hadn't been since the job started 2 years ago, to see if the sessions I purchased almost 3 years ago were still useable. THEY ARE! So I do 90 minutes of yoga, two days in a row..got out and shoot 43 on 9 holes. Hmm. Best 9 ever for my by a coupla' strokes. Maybe there's something to this flexibility thing....I always knew there was, but this is pretty dramatic for me.

So this morning it's yoga at 8:00 then off to the gym. Monday I'm in Chicago/Michigan for 10 days. I'll be back in time for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics WOO HOO! I just love the olympics.

Watching the gals in Evian? Poor Helen A. breaks the course record and is still in 2nd by a stroke. But the Yankees are now only 3 games back. perhaps there is a gawd?

Namaste

Steph,

Glad to see you are making the effort in Yoga.  I am doing some pilates to strengthen my back.  I too am A big Olympic Fan. It was a religious thing to watch when I lived with my grandparents in the 60's. The trend still lives on today. Proud to say I took part in building the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. I worked for ABC Studios at the time in their construction shop. It was a great experience.  Good luck with Yoga and remember " BREEEEEATH" lol

My wife and daughters do this yoga thing 2 nights a week. Must be something to it, since they all stay, and look pretty healthy. Me, I hike in the mountains, ride a mtn bike, walk golf course in summer heat, and still look like that little poppin' fresh dough boy. Perhaps a few less happy hours ($2 pitchers) on my part might be in order.............Then again, a bargain is a bargain.

YANKEE FAN? Iam hoping the CUBS, and RED SOXs end up playing in the last match up of the year. Already have sent big bucks to Chicago relative. Last night's Yank/Sox game was a fun to watch. Hope the next two are just as worthy.   FHs
