You read it right. I have a Google fridge that I'm giving away to one lucky person. It's as cool (if not cooler) than you think. Lots of pics and a video on my blog, but hurry; the contest is only for a week. http://danperry.com/wordpress/google-fridge-giveaway/

Keep an eye on your Google listing
DATE: 01/04/2008 07:49:12 / MOOD: can't wait for it to warm up
Searching for the term "golf marketing" in Google today provided an interesting, and painful result (at least, for the company in question). I wonder if they even know why their traffic is (probably) in the toilet. http://danperry.com/wordpress/ouch/Thesad part is that they may not be aware this is happening, or they may have done this on purpose (which is even worse, IMO). The lesson: Look at your listing every once in awhile in the major search engines. You just never know.

Golf website redesign; an often overlooked detail
DATE: 01/03/2008 08:37:37 / MOOD: can't wait for it to warm up
I was researching a golf course in my area, and noticed they went through a redesign. As a marketer, my first thought was "Uh-oh; I hope they didn't forget to..." Needless to say, they did, and it's easily the most often overlooked detail when redesigning a site, from a marketing standpoint. The video is just over 3 minutes long. Looking forward to your comments. http://danperry.com/wordpress/golf-website-redesign/

The Big Break and Golf mesquite Nevada; some thoughts
DATE: 12/29/2007 07:41:35 / MOOD: can't wait for it to warm up
I spent some time going through the GolfMesquiteNevada.com website, and put together a video that outlines some suggestions that I think may increase site conversion. If you run a website, and are trying to convert golfers, it may help you as well. Every little bit helps, right?
Looking forward to your thoughts.
