BEST ROUND EVER
Twice last summer i broke 80 with a 79 both times. On those days, everything just seemed to come together. Hoping to be able to do it a lot more this summer.
HOLES-IN-ONE
Haven't had one. The closest i ever came was on a 205 yard par 3. Rolled the ball right at the hole and it stopped about 3 inches short.

I suppose that would be the course where I am a member, Stonebridge meadows, in Fayetteville, AR. Another favorite is Eagle Crest in Alma, AR.

Westerns are my favorite. Anything with Clint Eastwood.
I am retired from the USAF. Played a little golf back then (in the early 80s) then got away from it for a long time. Just started again 2 years ago. First round was 107...ughhhh!!! Have improved to the point of shooting low to mid 80s and hoping to improve even more.

In golf, the slow 4some who refuses to let a single go thru.......so rude, people who never repair ball marks on the greens and playing with a very negative player. Other than that......Vain, high maintenance women who can't seem to grow up.

It sounds to me that you're getting to play a lot of golf. Lucky you! Just know, the more you play and practice the lower those scores will be. By the end of the summer, you will rule the roost.

Thanks for the tip, Wayner! I do believe you are right.... I need to focus more on one shot at a time. Here recently I've been so consumed with my score that I just end up getting flustered.
PS - If and when I hit greens, I always repair any ball marks. Unrepaired divots are so frustrating, not to mention disrespectful!
